THE GOVERNMENT OF EQUATORIAL GUINEA ONCE AGAIN MEETS ITS INTERNATIONAL COMMITMENTS IN THE EXTRACTIVE SECTOR.

The Government of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea has decided to make public all contracts signed with companies that operate in the National Extractive Sector.

With the voluntary publication of these contracts, the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, in its commitment to Transparency in the country's Extractive Sector, is once again reinforcing its commitment to the postulates of the EITI Standard, as well as the agreements in force with one of its development partners, which is the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

The last time Equatorial Guinea published its contracts was in 2020, four years ago now; an action that earned him praise from the Executive Board of EITI, an International Organization that advocates for Transparency and Good Governance of producing countries in the Extractive Industry.
