The Vice President of the National Commission, Priscila Obono ATEBAANGUESOMO, on behalf of and representing the President of the National Commission National Commission of the EITI Preparatory Group for Equatorial Guinea (EITI-GE) and Minister of Mines and Hydrocarbons, Antonio OBURU ONDO, has inaugurated on the morning of this Saturday, April 20, the new headquarters of the Permanent National Secretariat.
The event took place on the esplanade of the SEGUIBAD building, in Malabo II, whose sixth floor will house the new headquarters of the Permanent National Secretariat. After the welcoming words of the President of the National Commission and Minister of Mines and Hydrocarbons, the priestly blessing of the event took place, which gave way to the cutting of the inaugural ribbon. Immediately afterwards, the guests visited the new facilities that will house the offices of the Permanent National Secretariat, on the sixth floor of the building. Among the guests were several members of the Government, representatives of the Diplomatic Corps and international organizations accredited in our country, as well as the Multi-Stakeholder Group that makes up the National Commission of the EITI Preparatory Group for Equatorial Guinea (EITI-GE), as well as the team of the Permanent National Secretariat, headed by its Secretary, Iván-Lorenzo WILLIAMS MONGOLUE. The inauguration of the new headquarters of the Permanent National Secretariat in the city of Bata is scheduled to take place next Saturday, April 27.
